FAQ

Do we have Government funding?

Our clients are privately funded – these funds are often being managed by family members, solicitors, trustees or trust companies, or insurers.

Do you ever care for young people?

Yes, we do. We have many young clients who require our care. As every one of our clients needs differ we have a care specialist for every age group and necessity.

Can you provide a travelling companion?

Yes we can. This is a very popular role for our carers.

What if our needs change after we start receiving care from you?

Our service can change at any time to meet your changing needs. We often find that a client’s health, levels of independence and confidence improve after we have been providing care for a short while. Services can be reduced accordingly. Also, if a client experiences a seasonal health change or similar, the service can be increased. Many of our services are increased when family members are unavailable for any number of reasons.

What if you don’t like the carer that we provide?

You are a private client and if for any reason the carer that we match to you is not well-suited then we will comply with your wishes and find you a better fit. We ask that clients advise us if they are unhappy so that we may continue to improve our service provision.

Do you provide “one off” care?

Yes we do – we provide anything from one hour to 24 hour a day care dependent on your requirements

Are your carers trained?

Just-for-u carers are expertly screened, qualified and competent in their provision of health care to your loved one. They have current Police Checks, First Aid Certification, and a Certificate 3 in Elderly and Aged care or Home & Community Care. All of our team members are experienced and have a passion for the elderly and incapacitated. In time they really want you to feel that they are an extension of your family.

Just-for-u is managed on quality assurance principles. Regular feedback is sought after and acted upon promptly.
